5th Anniversary

For our 5th Anniversary we took a little weekend getaway down to Arches National Park with some friends. It was so great, it was the first time I had been there and it is soooo beautiful!!!! It happened to be snowing that weekend, which means we had to hike through the snow everywhere we went but it also meant that nobody else was there, we had the whole park to ourselves-it was fantastic!!!

The Park looks very mysterious with all the fog.

Hopefully next time we go, there will be some blue sky and warmer weather :)

SpiderMan

Last Saturday was a special day, Spencer took the day off!! We took the boys to the Expo Center, where they were having a kids club day. There was all sorts of fun things to do. They had bounce houses, those were Eli's favorite, he probably spent about 3 hours jumping! He got to pet some farm animals and reptiles. He got to sit in a helicopter and get his face painted!! He was so sad when I told him we had to wash his face before church, he wanted to show all his little friends his amazing spidey moves :)

Trying to be One of the Big Boys

Ethan is getting so big and he desperately wants to be one of the big boys. He watches Eli and his daddy rough housing and playing ball in the house and thinks he needs to join in too!

Here he is trying to eat the soccer ball, of course! He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth!

The Boys

Last night Spencer had his mutual activity at our house. Ethan was already in bed so I told Eli he had to play in his room or downstairs, he couldn't play with the big boys (which is what he really wanted to do, he was so excited when he saw them all walking in the house) Well, when I told him that wasn't going to happen he got upset and went to his room and hid in his closet. When I went to check on him 15 minutes later this is what I found!

Spencer's Young Men were having a good time cookin' up donuts and being quite loud, so of course Ethan woke up. He got to stay up late and party with his Daddy!!

He is so so ticklish, EVERYWHERE!! but especially right under his chin!

Grandma and Grandpa visit

Grandma Norma and Grandpa Jim came to visit at the beginning of January. It was great to see them and spend some time together. Eli was sick so he was being grumpy most the time but we still had fun. Grandpa was amazed Ethan had gotten so big he hadn't seen him since he was 2 weeks old and now he's 5 months and a little chunker!!
